About Us

The Susquehanna River’s Lake Clarke is where Susquehanna Yacht Club members share their love for boating, with plenty of wind and water for both sailors and power boaters. Offering the largest recreational boating venue in the area, members relish this piece of paradise with all forms of nautical fun like sailing, skiing, tubing, cruising, swimming and overnighting. Share in the fun aboard and ashore with club-sponsored parties planned throughout the year. Events are held at our spacious riverside picnic area or in the modern clubhouse overlooking the water. Weekly racing for class boats and frequent PHRF cruiser races are scheduled all season. Come make warm memories at the Susquehanna Yacht Club!

Membership

The Susquehanna Yacht Club is fortunate to have a diverse membership, drawing boaters from the lake’s bordering counties of Lancaster and York, the Harrisburg area and beyond. Members share in the upkeep of the pristine property as well as cultivating the concept of the lakeside community that is SYC. Permanent moorings, rack storage for smaller boats and hoist-launching for trailerable daysailers are available. We’re always welcoming new members.
